Look Within
Taking into account our inner spiritual guidance is often overlooked when we are trying to make changes in our lives. We attach the doing or taking action as the means to change. We are always looking outside of ourselves to find the answers to what WE need.
We say things to ourselves like…
If only my partner would stop doing that thing, then we would have a better relationship.
If only I lived in a different house, then I would be happier.
If I lost 20 pounds, then I could feel good about my body.
If only I had more free time, then my life would be better.
We all do this, and when this kind of inner dialogue goes unnoticed or unquestioned we live a life of constant searching………. so exhausting.
What if we tapped into answering our own questions?
When we take the time to address the spirit within we draw closer to being our authentic and unique selves. We draw on the inner guidance that is within all of us as we journey through this human experience.
I am not talking about religion; I am talking about the deep inner knowing that is available to all of us. This is something inherent in every living thing and when we acknowledge this as guidance we gain deeper understanding, we stop all the negative self-talk, we look at life’s experiences as teachers showing us the way, we gain trust in ourselves, and we learn as we go.
When you find yourself looking for something to change.….
Start by looking within for your own answers.
Sit in stillness and trust that what comes up for you is there to serve you.
Take inspired action from a calm and trusting energy rather than from a frantic fearful energy.
As Abraham Hicks likes to say - “Everything is always working out for me”.
Much love,
Amy
